Air Cargo Advance Screening – USA & Canada

Dear Valued Client,

Please review the below mandatory requirement for all cargo destined to or transiting to the USA and Canada, effective immediately.

Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS)

To be in compliance with airline regulations, the new Air Cargo Advance Screening form will need to be completed, signed and stamped for all shipments destined to or transiting to the USA and Canada. This form will be supplied upon booking.

If a shipment is stopped by the airline for compliance, submission of additional details will be necessary.

Part of ACAS is also accurate and precise description of goods/commodity, and too vague or unclear descriptions will be rejected. A reminder too that the airlines require the HS code/s to be stated on every AWB and electronically transmitted. No CCA (Cargo Correction Advice) will be permitted after the RCS has been accepted for all shipments destined for or transiting through the USA and Canada.  CCA’s will be strictly prohibited.

It is also mandatory for the following information to be provided for ALL shipments, no matter the destination, in order for us to submit to the airlines.

In addition to the shipper and consignee name and address:
• Shipper telephone number • Shipper email address • Shipper zip code • Consignee telephone number • Consignee email address • Consignee zip code
• HS code per commodity

Should you have any queries, please reach out to our Head Office on 0318180320.
