As you will be aware most industry rates change 1 April each year with the one exception of Airline handling release fees, where the local airline handlers change tariff 1 January every year. We have managed to negotiate that their increases are minimal (between 5% and 6%) and note the new SCT airline release fee tariff applicable to all movements from 1 January 2024 below:
Applicable from 1 January 2024 to end December 2024
| Break Bulk Fee (where applicable) | R 67.00 per parcel |
| Airline handling | R 1.40 per kg – minimum R 600.00 |
| EDI Fee | R 16.00 per bill |
| Landside delivery fee (where applicable) | R 350.00 per bill |
| Currency Adjustment Factor | 2.5% of Foreign amount |
