We note with concern that once again the ATDF has announced plans for a national shutdown. It is planned for the 26th and 27th of February and is expected to include blockading of national roads and attempts to halt trucks leaving Transnet facilities.
Our transport partners are well aware of the situation which will be assessed on a continuous basis it progresses. As always, the safety of the drivers as well as cargo will be foremost of any decision making.
