Do not dispatch trucks to the Terminal without appointments, as they will not be processed. Wind speed was recorded at gusts of above 75 kmph. Please take note Pier 2 waterside is windbound from 23h45 with wind gusting up to 80 km/h. Pier 2 Landside and rail is windbound from 00h30. Communication will be sent on commence of operation.

2. Terminal Congestion and Operational Delays

Our trucking partners have been working tirelessly to clear the backlog of cargo which arrived over the festive period and are currently working at full capacity with limited trucks on the road while staff are starting to return to work for the New Year. The team at SCT are working through all shipments and assure you we are all working full steam ahead to deliver your cargo soonest possible.

KZN is currently experiencing heavy rain which is also causing operational delays at the terminal where truckers are not able to obtain bookings to uplift units. With wet roads, some delivery delays can be expected over this time. We sincerely thank you for your understanding.
