MSC has announced a General Rate Increase (GRI) effective 1st July 2025. This adjustment will apply to all cargo moving ex China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and South East Asia to South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, and Indian Ocean Islands. The increase of USD 300 / Unit is in response to continued operational cost pressures and market conditions. We do expect other carriers to follow suit.
