Important Notice – Western India Challenges

Dear Valued Client

We wish to inform you that continuous heavy rainfall since yesterday has caused severe disruptions across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai

The impact of these weather conditions has affected movement of cargo, transportation, and clearance activities at all three Custom Zones namely Mumbai Customs, JNCH Nhava Sheva, and ACC Sahar. Major impact is being felt on movement/transport of cargo to and from supplier location and CFS. Several areas are witnessing waterlogging, traffic congestion, and operational delays, resulting in difficulties for staff to reach CFSs, Ports, and Customs locations. Consequently, Custom Brokers may face challenges in timely documentation, clearance, and delivery of import/export consignments.

Our operations team is closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated on any significant impact to your planned shipments.

Should you need any further assistance, please reach out to our head office in Durban.
