IMPORTANT SYSTEMS CHANGE – SCT

Dear Customers

After significant research we have decided to upgrade our IT platform / system. Changing systems is never easy but we have made this bold decision for several reasons but the primary one – to enhance all our processes, customs integration and most importantly optimise the final development and release of exciting new IT tools that we have developed. These new tools will revolutionise how we interact and partner with you and we can’t wait to demonstrate the same in quarter 2.

No systems change is ever easy, but we have spent three months planning this to make every effort to ensure that the transition does not negatively affect our customer base in any way. We are confident all bases have been covered in this regard. The timing of this change has been linked deliberately to our financial year end and so we will be live on the new system 1st March. You should feel no impact of the change except that our invoicing and some of our reporting may have a slightly different look and feel March onwards. Next week, we will have final training sessions for our team, but all training sessions have been strategically planned so that no current work functions are left unmanned at any time. No training session is longer than 2 hours but there may be a slight delay in reply to certain mails if the individual is in a session. However, they will have an out of office message that will advise their return time to their desks as well as the contact details of the person covering their functions over this time so, please feel free to elevate or redirect your enquiry if an urgent response is required.

This change will have a positive impact on service delivery, tools and reporting but if at any stage in this transition you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to elevate these to any of our management team – Gary Knight (gary.knight@sctsolutions.co.za), Graeme Impson (graeme.impson@sctsolutions.co.za) or Nicholas Browne (nicholas.browne@sctsolutions.co.za)

We thank you sincerely for your support.
