1. Fuel Surcharge February 2022
Please note that in line with the latest fuel price increase, fuel surcharge will increase by 2%
2. Reminder: Chinese New Year
Offices in China will reopen on the 7th of February, at which point the shipping lines and airlines will be inundated with cargo and requests. Should you be planning any shipments immediately after CNY please advise our team of this in advance so that we can proactively begin to look for options.
3. Container Hygiene
Please be advised that shipping lines are starting to charge for the removal of labels, and are becoming more strict on containers being cleaned out properly prior to turn in. If your suppliers have added labels to the exterior or interior of a container please ensure that they are removed and that the containers are free of debris such as packaging and strapping before allowing the truck to depart. The depot staff inspect containers when they are returned to the shipping lines, and fines will be issued for transgressions.
