1. Kota Lawa Delay
The Kota Lawa has suffered engine failure en-route to Durban and is currently awaiting a tugboat to so that it can be towed to Colombo for repairs. Customers with cargo on this vessel have been informed and our Operations Team will continue to update them, please be aware that as long as this vessel is out of service there will be further pressure on the already constrained Far-East to South Africa route. 2. SARS Invoice Requirements
We have recently had an issue with SARS when processing an invoice through Customs. SARS have requested that all invoices be titled ‘Commercial Invoice’ from now on in order to avoid future problems. Kindly ask your suppliers to assist in this regard, and export clients are asked to ensure that their documents comply with this requirement.
