    Please refer to the attached notice regarding TPT implementation of the Operations Stabilization Levy effective 01 October 2022. A total cost of R148 will be levied against all container imports, exports and transhipments handled at the container and multi-purpose terminals.
     
    2. Maersk Increase in DRP Fee 
    On the 13th of September Maersk communicated their decision to extend the stop on acceptance of drop-off of empty containers at Johannesburg depots, effective 14th September until 01st October 2022. 

    ‘With the expected restoration of rail from early October following mainline repairs by TFR, as well as the easing of storage capacity we are pleased to announce from 01St October the acceptance of drop-off of empty containers in Johannesburg.
    Given the increase in costs to evacuate empty containers from the Johannesburg area we will be applying an increase to the drop-off (DRP) fee effective 01 November.’
