Transnet working to clear port backlogs

Transnet has resumed operations and began implementing recovery plans across all ports and rail systems in South Africa after the national strike. Majority of Transnet staff have returned to work, and we have seen a slow but steady increase in vessels berthing and export sailing schedules now published. Port bookings to uplift containers have re-opened but trucking partners are still communicating severe congestion at Durban Container Terminal.

We continue to prioritise the backlog of deliveries and ensure all cargo is delivered soonest possible.
