USA EAST & GULF COAST PORT STRIKE ALERT

Dear Valued Client

Kindly note that our partners in the USA have confirmed a port strike has been initiated across all US East and Gulf coast ports terminals. We are currently aware of the following ports being closed and the duration of the strike is unknown at present.

Port of New York/ New Jersey
Port of Savannah, GA
Port of Charleston, SC
Port of Norfolk, VA

It is expected that the strike will have a direct effect on airfreight operations as urgent ocean freight cargo will need to move by air. This is expected to result in capacity constraints and disruptions at all levels. Please take this into account when planning any shipments to and from the USA.
